Install Stremio on your Android TV box, Google TV, Nvidia Shield, Mi Box, or Amazon Fire TV Stick. Full step-by-step guide including APK sideloading.

If your device has access to Google Play (most Android TV and Google TV devices do), this is the simplest method.
Navigate to the Play Store from your device home screen using the remote.
Use the search function and type "Stremio". Select the official app by Smart-Code Ltd.
Press Install and wait for it to complete. Open Stremio from your app list and sign in.
If your device doesn't have Google Play, or if you want to install a specific version, you can sideload the APK. The easiest tool for this is Downloader by AFTVnews.
Go to Settings → Device Preferences (or Security) → Unknown Sources. Enable it for the Downloader app.
Find "Downloader by AFTVnews" in your TV's app store and install it.
Open Downloader, select the URL bar, and enter the direct APK download link from the section below.
The APK will download and an install prompt will appear. Accept to complete the installation.
Fire TV Stick doesn't have Google Play, so you'll need to sideload the APK. The process is the same as above using the Downloader app.
Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Apps from Unknown Sources → Turn On.
Search for "Downloader" in the Amazon App Store. It's free and official.
Use the arm64-v8a APK URL from the section below. Most Fire TV Sticks use arm64.
After the download finishes, tap Install. Stremio will appear in your app list.
Copy the URL for the right APK into the Downloader app on your TV.
Open Stremio on your TV and sign in with your Stremio account. The TV interface is optimized for remote navigation — everything is accessible without a keyboard or mouse.
Navigate to the Addons section and install your preferred content sources. Your watch history and watchlist will sync automatically with your phone and desktop Stremio apps.
